Although we removed 2/3 of the ivy off the Chancel Arch, this with the consent of CADW, grants are presently being sought from CADW to have the remaining 1/3 removed. The work comprises:

1. Erecting scaffolding;
2. Removing of all ivy and other growth;
3. Consolidation works including making safe where nessesary and renovation works to the Chancel Wall, removal of debris, repointing and rebuilding (if needed) using NHL lime mortar (the work will be under the supervision of CADWs Inspector of Ancient Monuments).
